We had a blast while the Cossaboons were here to visit... We stayed over night in Yellowstone, and got to visit the Bear and Wolf sanctuary in West Yellowstone. That was a pretty neat place. I wish we had spent more time in the learning part, but it was still fun.

While they were here, we broke out the Bocci Ball game... Grandma and Kyla against Granddad and Jonas... Kyla wasn't sure they were playing fair...

While we were in Yellowstone, we stopped for lunch at this spot, and Jonas climbed up the rock formations for a picture....

So...they were trying to decide whose ball was closer.. Kyla thinks hers is......

The boys.....and Hunney.

Awww... We love Grandma and Granddad......

Well.... Granddad... He said... "Wait..Wait.. Lets get the measuring tape out!!! In the end
Everybody was a winner!

That Doggon Tooth!!!!

We were just hanging around one evening while everyone was here, and Jonas showed Daddy his loose tooth. So, Dan gets this great idea of how to pull it out. He tied Jonas' tooth to a string, and the other end to Hella... Derek and Cindy's dog. So the plan was to have Hella fetch a ball while Jonas bravely stood by and let the tooth be yanked from his face!!!! See how it turned out....

July With My Family

Happy Birthday to us.......Chandra baked us a cake to celebrate with. Thank you Chandra.
We love these girls!!!! We are sorry Jon wasn't able to come this year.

What in the world, Chandra?????? You are beautiful anyway you look at it!!!

We finally went to the rodeo. We have lived here 3 years, and the rodeo goes every night during the summer... And we had never been. So when Mom and Chuck came we decided to go. It was really fun. And this is the only picture of Chuck I got, because he was busy playing with his new camera the whole week!!@!!

Yeeehaw!!! This Buffalo sits in town waiting for the kids to come and take a picture... While we were walking around we stopped to visit.

This poor little Keeya is such a sweetie to allow Kyla to do what ever she wants with her. This is Kyla's baby carrier for her dolls. And Keeya is strapped in instead.

Grandma still hasn't heeled in this picture it looks like Jonas punched her in the eye and is apologizing.....

We did quite a bit of beading while they were here... And Fawn was especially enjoying herself!!!!

Camping in Colorado

We were in Colorado visiting Derek and Cindy in June. While we were there, we went camping in Rocky Mountain National Park. We really had a blast. We played bacci ball in the camp site, and had our first experience with banana boats. They were this yummy concoction of a banana split open with the peel on, and stuffed with chocolate candy of choice wrapped in foil and cooked over the camp fire. We drove to the top of the mountain and stopped along the way to enjoy the scenery...and wildlife. It was a very special memory made.

Slippin-anda-Slidin

Kyla got a slip-n-slide for her Birthday. We decided to get it out the other day. The kids had soooo much fun on it.
It was one of the days it was warm enough to play in the water... it hasn't even gotten up to 80 on very many days....

Happy Birthday Kyla

What a fun time Kyla had at her party. We had lots of friends over. We made a homemade brownie icecream cake. Which by the way was delicious.. And we all took turns trying out Kyla's new hula hoop. My baby is 4 years old... I can't believe it!!!
Okay... Sorry ladies, but I had to put these up too.... It was so much fun, I wanted to share.

4th of July

We love the july 4th celebration in Cody... The parade is always so fun... People line the street, and you'd never know that this is a town of only 8000.
Then there is the day in the park, where people have booths set up selling their goods, and food, and entertainment.
After that, we went to our friends house, and rode horses with them. the kids, especially Kyla love it. And... we got Fawn on one too. She had so much fun!! it was a special day for her.

Children's Choir

So,... Jonas and Kyla have started singing in the choir at church. They have really enjoyed singing the songs and practicing.
But, it came time to get up in front of the church to perform a song... and, Well...
you can see how excited Kyla is. She wanted to be up there. It just wasn't quite what she expected. But, she stuck it out, and hasn't done it since.

Summer Days.... Camping

We haven't done a whole lot of camping yet this summer, but we do love it.

Easter

Happy Easter to everyone... We hope yours was as special as ours was!!!

Wildlife Adventure

We can't get inside Yellowstone yet. The East entrance gates don't open until May because of the snow, and the pass we go through (Sylvan Pass) often has avalanche danger through the winter.
However, we took Grandma up the Northfork up to the gates and got to see some really beautiful wildlife...
The most exciting part of the day was when we found the wolf tracks. They were in an unlikely area... they usually hang out
up higher in the mountains..
We suspect they are low
because that's where the
elk are right now.We took a cast of them out of plaster of paris to keep as a treasure... You know how Jonas loves his treasures...
We had a really fun day.
